Seasonal greetings to all Tucsonans as Miracle on Congress St. returns for another round of fun on Friday, December 3 – Sunday, December 19.
Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for a few weeks, the whimsical paradise of lights, jingle bells, holiday music, festively flavored ice cream, and cocktails will be brightening up Playground Bar & Lounge — which has been temporarily closed for the last few months.
Also, did you know Santa Claus will be hanging out, waiting to greet you?
All kids can meet Santa and score a free scoop of Candy Cane ice cream from HUB’s vintage ice cream truck, while grown-ups can get into the spirit with Playground’s special holiday-inspired cocktails.
Keep in mind, these cocktails will only be available during Miracle on Congress St. hours, which are 4 – 6:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and then noon – 4 p.m. on Sunday at 278 E. Congress St.
Across the street at 245 E. Congress St., HUB Ice Cream Parlor is churning up eight new holiday-inspired ice cream flavors. They’re sweet, chilly, perfect for the holiday season, and there’s even a flavor for the troublemakers out there: Lump of Coal.
While seeing Santa is completely free, Miracle on Congress St. also encourages visitors to bring a non-perishable donation for the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona in order to spread the holiday cheer to others in our community.
HUB Ice Cream Parlor and Playground Bar & Lounge will match or exceed each donation made to the Food Bank between Friday, December 3 – Sunday, December 19.
