Le Buzz: New menu items, holiday gift ideas and an all around tasty time

Dec 2, 20212 min read

If you’re looking for the perfect place to treat family and friends over the holidays, head over to either of the two Le Buzz locations. With fresh brewed coffee, house made pastries right out of the oven, and delicious breakfast and lunch options you can order all day like the Ribeye Burger and Blueberry Blue Corn Buckwheat Pancakes, you’re sure to find something that suits your fancy.

Le Buzz recently celebrated 25 years of business in Tucson, and opened a second location in late 2019.

“We have been focused on freshening and expanding the menu,” said Chef Ivan Zambrano. “The whole team was involved in tasting and selecting our new menu items and we are very proud of the results.”

New Menu Items

For those looking for pure comfort food, Le Buzz’s recently added Red-Eye Chicken Taco and a marinated Steak Sando – both served with waffle fries and a spicy house dipping sauce – are excellent choices. If you’re a frequent guest, all the  favorites still remain, such as the Le Buzz Breakfast Sandwich and the Breakfast Burrito, alongside new flavors of omelettes, tartines served with fresh squeezed juices, burritos, sandwiches, quiches, soups and salads. The trademark fusion of comfort food and healthy food remain menu trademarks, as well as the laid-back “have a peaceful day” atmosphere.

“We wanted to include more vegetarian options and healthy selections,” said Zambrano. Those goals resulted in the new Le Veggie Burger made with real grains and vegetables, a Fresh Veggie Wrap featuring crisp sugar snap peas, edamame, mango, corn and avocado, the Fruit & Farro Bowl with apples, dates and spiced pecans, and a low-carb Cilantro Riced Cauliflower side.

The Plaza Palomino location also offers bar options including breakfast bubblers, a curated selection of house cocktails, local beer and a nice variety of wines by the glass.

Locally Made Gifts

Also don’t forget to look for last-minute gift ideas, such as Le Buzz mugs made at Tucson’s own H.F. Coors, freshly roasted whole bean coffee from Decibel Coffee Works, ceramic ornaments from Spring & Vine, Hatch red and green chile salts from Desert Provisions, drink mixers from Iconic Cocktails, original jewelry from local artists The Good Thistle and Little Toro Designs, plus local photographer Leslie Leather’s stunning nature photography calendars for 2022.

Le Buzz gift cards go on sale November 26 through December 24. As a holiday bonus, every purchase of $100 gift card includes an additional free, $20 gift card.

Le Buzz is open daily from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and offers two locations in Tucson at 9121 E. Tanque Verde (at Catalina Highway) and 2930 N. Swan Road (at Fort Lowell  in Plaza Palomino. For current menu, online orders, and contact information. visit lebuzzcaffe.com.
