On Saturday, April 15, Better Bevs is officially opening its doors at 210 N. Fourth Ave.
The location is no stranger to sweet treats, which formerly housed both Isabella’s Ice Cream and Desert Dream Ice Cream, but this time around the shop will be serving cold brews, slushes, snows, fruit teas, lemonades, Italian Sodas, milk teas, and Hawaiian shaved ice.
“Some of the team’s favorites are things such as our Churro Cold Brew, Cha-Mango Slushee, Strawberry Cheesecake Snow, Longan Green Tea, Blueberry Coco-Lime Italian Soda, Cucumber Lemonade, and Toasted Black Sesame Seed Milk Tea,” said Nikki Zazueta of Better Bevs. “And our Hawaiian Shaved Ice has many flavors for everyone’s unique combinations.”
On top of that, they’ll be serving up different flavors of boba and a variety of sauces and jellies to add to your drinks. And, in the spirit of the last two shops that habited the space, Better Bevs will serve ice cream, too.
“Our shop was influenced by the timeless experiences my sister and I shared together over grabbing a beverage,” said Zazueta. “From stopping while running errands or just making a special trip to get a little somethin’ sweet after dinner.”
“In our shop, we have incorporated many flavors from the places we have been lucky enough to call home, such as Ube, some of Hawai’i’s many other flavors, and churro-flavored drinks.”
Additionally, they’re just excited to create another safe space for everyone to visit along Fourth Avenue. Stay tuned for more on what they’ve got in store for their grand opening on Saturday, April 15.
The hours of operation, which are subject to change, are noon – 10 p.m. on Sunday – Thursday and noon – midnight on Friday – Saturday.
