Tucson Tamale Celebrates 15 Years with Free Tres Leches Cupcakes

November 20, 2023
By Matt Sterner

On November 21, 2008, Tucson Tamale Company opened a small little take-out shop on Broadway and Tucson Boulevard. That little restaurant earned local, state, and national accolades for the tamales they served. From that very first day, Tucson Tamale has been on an adventurous journey — opening a nearly 15,000-square-foot facility so that more of their tamales can be sold nationwide.

“Our tamales are sold in 6,000 grocery stores in all 50 states, and we spread the tamale love by shipping our tamales to individuals and households as gifts as well as through recurring subscriptions,” said Sherry Martin of Tucson Tamale. “They are a great gift any time of year – but especially as we enter this holiday season.”
