La Estrella Bakery has set an official Grand Opening for its brand-new downtown location at 141 S. Stone Ave. #100 — this is on the ground level of the building that also houses Home2Suites by Hilton and the Hampton Inn.
From 9 a.m. – noon on Sunday, May 5, La Estrella Bakery will open its doors to the public. We first learned about the new location in March of this year, which is just across the street from the stunning Saint Augustine Cathedral on Stone Avenue.
With news like this, Cinco De Mayo just got sweeter!
“Come join us and say hi as we expand into downtown Tucson,” La Estrella Bakery shared on Instagram.
The bakery has three other spots in Tucson.
There’s one at Mercado San Agustin at 100 S. Avenida Del Convento, another in Barrio Hollywood at 901 N. Grande Ave., and then the original location on the southside at 5266 S. 12th Ave, which first opened its doors and fired up the ovens in 1986.
