Each week, we want to highlight one of our favorite restaurants in Tucson!
Since 2005, Lovin’ Spoonfuls at 2990 N. Campbell Ave. #120 has built a tight-knit community with not just vegans and vegetarians but all eaters here in Tucson.
Last year, Juan Irais Benavides and Michelle Benavides brought a breath of new life into Lovin’ Spoonfuls. Both have a wealth of restaurant experience and they’ve been taking Lovin’ Spoonfuls to new heights. For example, the new menu they just dropped on Monday, October 21 has to be one of their best, and the restaurant was named one of the “Top 25 Best Places to Eat in Tucson” by Yelp.
From time to time, Lovin’ Spoonfuls offers specials like Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes, Breakfast Tacos, and Southwest Cobb Salad. In fact, they were so popular that they’ve earned a permanent spot on the menu!
Another new addition to the menu is The Death Free Foodie — named after yours truly. The breakfast dish (available until 3 p.m. each day) includes a freshly made biscuit topped with two battered tenders and mushroom country gravy. It’s also served with a tofu scramble and potatoes.
You can check out the full menu online, or better yet, go see it for yourself in person!

The restaurant is currently open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Monday – Saturday and 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Sunday.
In the Community
Also, Lovin’ Spoonfuls is participating in this year’s Oro Valley Fall Foodie & Art Festival happening from Saturday, October 26 — Sunday, October 27.
SAACA asked us (Tucson Foodie) to bring Oro Valley a little taste of Tucson—so we rounded up some of our favorite food trucks and vendors, including some returning favorites from prior years. We’ve curated more than 25 food and beverage vendors for the Foodie Experience, featuring seasonal treats like pumpkin-flavored drinks, kettle corn, fudge, and regional bites that celebrate Southern Arizona’s food culture.
Lovin’ Spoonfuls is located at 2990 N. Campbell Ave. #120. For more information, visit lovinspoonfuls.com and follow the restaurant on Instagram.
