“None of this would be possible without the support! We have put every penny back into our business for you all to come out and enjoy. Thank you so much, Tucson, for everything.”
The team at Tanna’s Botannas — the locally-owned, flavor-packed snack destination — is hosting a grand opening (more of a reopening) of their renovated patio space on Saturday, April 26.
For the past few months, construction crews have been hard at work, turning the 4426 S. Sixth Ave. location into a hub made for hangouts, snacking, and entertainment. Named “El Patio,” the new space has plenty of shaded seating, a picnic area with turf and a water fountain, and a large dance floor.
Stop by from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, for the following deals:
Founded in 2020, the shop specializes in sweet, sour, and spicy treats that embody the essence of Mexican street food culture. Their signature snacks include candies coated in a blend of spices, rim dips for your beverage of choice, and other confections that have reeled in quite the following.
“We love our supporters, we love our haters — everything has pushed us to where we are today.”
In the past five years, Tanna’s Botannas has gone nationwide. They’ve teamed up with the national candy store IT’SUGAR, which is one of the largest specialty sweets shops in the U.S., as well as Spencer’s (yes, the novelty gift store).
Reminder: the Grand Opening party is at the 4426 S. Sixth Ave. location (they have another location at 954 W. Prince Rd.).
