Your Guide to the Agave Heritage Festival’s MezCrawl (MAP)

A night of agave-inspired cocktails, mezcal, and culinary delights! From 5 – 11 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, kick off the MezCrawl with a traditional mezcal toast at the Playground Bar & Lounge and then stroll to any of the participating Downtown Tucson restaurant and bar locations.

Each ticket includes a veladora (a traditional mezcal sipping glass), lanyard, light bites, and mezcal cocktail samples at each of the following locations. Tickets are for sale now!

AC Hotel Tucson Downtown

The AC Hotel is a great spot to call it a night if you’re staying downtown. Situated in the heart of the action, the hotel “embraces the spirit of Tucson through locally inspired artwork in our lobby and craft beers and unique spirits sourced from Southern Arizona” in their  AC Lounge.

Cafe Passe

Tasting: Tequila Cabal Refrescante – Refreshing tipple with Cabal Silver Tequila, Guava Syrup, Lime Juice, Aperal and Cucumber.

Stop by Cafe Passe and sample their menu full of Mexican-inspired dishes alongside tried and true Passe favorites including burgers, a chicken salad sandwich, bagels, and quesadillas. Or enjoy their selection of local beers, wines, and craft cocktails.

The Century Room

The Century Room at the Hotel Congress is where it’s at for live jazz and crafty cocktails. It’s the first jazz club in Tucson and it’s adding some real style to the city’s nightlife. Their Sonoran Sazerac goes down smoother than that baseline and their charcuterie boards hit those high notes just right!

Ermanos Bar

Ermanos is featuring the Oaxacan Smash cocktail but using Vago “Elote” mezcal for the base. Also offering $2 off their elote and nachos.

Ermanos, situated on Fourth Avenue, is a gastropub known for its meticulously curated selection of craft beer and wine. Complementing its beverage offerings, Ermanos also serves elevated pub fare that emphasizes local and seasonal ingredients, which they also use to feature vegan dishes that always leave an impression.

Good Oak Bar

This can easily be one of your go-to places for a wide range of bites and brews. You can even order pizza from Jaime’s Pizza Kitchen next door! They’re open ’til midnight almost every day, so it’s a great place for evening drinks and late-night munchies.

Portal will be showcasing Vago “Elote” mezcal in a cocktail with small bites of homemade chile jerky.

Peeking through the narrow rectangular window at the black door, you’d think you need a password to enter — you don’t need one though. Step inside past the deep mirrored entry and you’ll be instantly transported into another world where craft cocktails reign supreme.
