Where to Eat & Drink During Tucson Comic-Con 2025

Where to go after Tucson Comic-Con 2026 wraps for the day

Aug 29, 20254 min read

Tucson Comic-Con returns Friday, September 4, and Saturday, September 5, and the fun doesn't stop when the convention floor closes. Bars, theaters, and venues across downtown Tucson and beyond are rolling out after-hours parties, cosplay contests, and themed specials for badge holders and the public alike. Here's where to find the action once the panels wrap.

Friday, September 4

The Rialto Theatre — Bop to the Top Dance Party 318 E. Congress St. | 9 p.m.-close

No photo description available.

The Rialto throws a Disney and 2000s-era dance party on opening night. Tucson Comic-Con wristbands unlock discounts at the door, so bring your badge along.

Unicorn Zebra — Crazy Chicken Comics Cosplay Karaoke 82 S. Stone Ave. | 8-11 p.m.

Grab the mic for cosplay karaoke while sipping comic-themed drink specials. The bar also runs comic raffles throughout the night, so stick around for a shot at prizes.

Cobra Arcade Bar Tucson — Tucson Comic-Con Arcade After Party 63 E. Congress St. | 9 p.m.-2 a.m.

Show your Tucson Comic-Con ticket or badge for free arcade tokens. Cosplay is encouraged, and the bar repeats this after party on Saturday, too.

La Rosa — Seoul Electric 800 N. Country Club Rd. | Doors at 8 p.m., show at 9 p.m. | 18+, $10 admission

La Rosa joins the Tucson Comic-Con after-hours lineup this year, and it's also hosting Seoul Electric, a K-pop and EDM dance party presented by Tucson Asian Night Market. The event features DJs Tony, Matt P, Shorty, and WaiWai, alongside performances from Undershore, Zang, Iris Dance, and A Young Grasshopper. Guests can browse a K-pop vendor courtyard, sing karaoke with Ricky and Lawrence, and stop by the Mai photo booth. Doors open at 8 p.m. for the 21+ event. Since Comic-Con wristbands often carry weight at La Rosa's after-hours events, cosplayers looking to swap one nerdy night out for another might find this the easiest crossover on the list.

Saturday, September 5

Hotel Congress — Official Tucson Comic-Con After Party 311 E. Congress St. | 9 p.m.-2 a.m.

This is the convention's official after party, and it goes all out with DJs, cosplay, and anime and gaming-inspired music. Expect themed visuals, special themed drinks, vendors, giveaways, and a trinket exchange. Organizers have also teased possible surprise Comic-Con guests.

Bumsted's — Karaoke Costume Party 1003 N. Stone Ave. | 8 p.m.-close

Come in costume and belt out your favorite tunes at this karaoke costume party.

The Rialto Theatre — Bad Bunny Rave 318 E. Congress St. | 9 p.m.-close

Saturday's Rialto show shifts to a Bad Bunny rave, and Tucson Comic-Con wristbands still unlock discounts at the door.

Cobra Arcade Bar Tucson — Tucson Comic-Con Arcade After Party 63 E. Congress St. | 9 p.m.-2 a.m.

The free-token deal returns for badge and ticket holders, and cosplay is welcome again.

Chicago Bar — Capes & Curves Burlesque: Heroes & Villains 5954 E. Speedway Blvd. | 7 p.m. | $25 regular admission

This heroes-and-villains-themed burlesque show, Roxi Starr and the Queens of the Multiverse, offers Tucson Comic-Con wristband holders $5 off at the door. Wristband holders also receive a goody bag and a free raffle ticket.

The Screening Room — Wasteland Cop Premiere 127 E. Congress St. | 7 p.m.

Catch the full-length premiere of "Wasteland Cop," another event listed among this year's Tucson Comic-Con after-hours offerings.

Poppin' Off Pop Culture Gifts & More — Unofficial Tucson Comic-Con After-Hours Party 7-10 p.m. | All ages

This all-ages, unofficial after-hours party includes cosplay, games and activities, photo opportunities, and late-night shopping. Specialty mocktails and music round out the evening.

Both nights

Cobra Arcade Bar Tucson 63 E. Congress St. | 9 p.m.-2 a.m.

Cobra Arcade Bar runs its Comic-Con Arcade After Party on both Friday and Saturday. Free arcade tokens go to anyone with a Tucson Comic-Con ticket or badge, and cosplay is encouraged both nights.

Food, drink, and restaurant specials confirmed so far

  • Bumsted's: Karaoke costume party on Saturday night.

  • Hotel Congress / Club Congress: Official Saturday night after party with special themed drinks.

  • Unicorn Zebra: Comic-themed drink specials on Friday night.

  • Cobra Arcade Bar: Free arcade tokens with a Tucson Comic-Con ticket or badge, Friday and Saturday.

  • Chicago Bar: $5 off Capes & Curves admission with a Tucson Comic-Con wristband, plus a goody bag and raffle ticket.

  • Rialto Theatre / R Bar: Comic-Con wristband discounts for both Friday's and Saturday's events.

  • Poppin' Off Pop Culture Gifts & More: Specialty mocktails during Saturday's unofficial after-hours party.

This lineup will likely grow as more venues confirm their plans, so check back for updates as Tucson Comic-Con 2026 gets closer.
