Tucson’s New 420 Fest Blends Food, Music & Cannabis Into One High-Vibe Celebration

Apr 4, 20252 min read

What if you found a golden Easter egg — and it was filled with joints or worth $100 in dispensary gift cards?

That’s just one of the surprises waiting for you at the first-ever 420 Fest, presented by Earth’s Healing, a brand-new cannabis, food, and music experience created by Tucson Foodie, Tucson Doobie, and Earth’s Healing. This exciting event takes place on Saturday, April 19, from 2–8 p.m. at the Whistle Stop Depot, a unique venue that’s been revitalized to give Tucson a fresh and exciting space to gather.

More than just a cannabis event, 420 Fest brings together the best of Tucson’s food, music, and cannabis scenes — all in one unforgettable day.

The Ultimate Cannabis Easter Egg Hunt

Here’s the fun part: a cannabis-themed Easter egg hunt hosted by The Prime Leaf. 300 eggs will be hidden around the venue, each filled with joints, edibles, and other surprises. Look out for the golden eggs — each one is worth $100 in gift cards to The Prime Leaf. Get ready to hunt and score some serious prizes.

Explore Cannabis in All Its Forms

At 420 Fest, you’ll get to explore some of Arizona’s best cannabis — from flower and concentrates to edibles and vapes — with these top vendors:

  • Earth’s Healing – running the official dab bar with their products
  • The Prime Leaf
  • SAINTS Dispensary
  • High West Farms
  • Halo Infusions
  • Piñatas Premium Cannabis
  • More vendors TBA

Don’t miss the Hot Box Tent by Tucson Party Patrol, mini acupuncture sessions by Dr. Heather Moroso, and some beautiful handcrafted items like pottery ashtrays by Kara Wiesmann and glass art by Greg Wilson and Jaw Glass.

Food & Drinks You’ll Love

You won’t go hungry at 420 Fest. We’ve got a great selection of local food that’s sure to satisfy:

  • Open-fire cooking by Chef Pablo Valencia
  • Malta Joe’s Pastizzi
  • An old school ice cream truck!

On the drink side, PHILTERS and Parch will be serving up refreshing botanical mocktails — a perfect way to cool off while enjoying the event.

Live Music That Keeps You Moving

We’ve got a great lineup of music to keep the energy up all day:

  • Herb N Life – Two live sets
  • DJ Jahmar – Spinning and hosting live hip hop performances
  • Desert Music Project
  • More acts TBA

Expect music that gets everyone moving and adds to the fun atmosphere.

🎟 Tickets are $40 and available now. If you’re a Tucson Foodie or Tucson Doobie member, check your inbox for a 50% off discount code.

Thanks to Earth’s Healing for presenting the event and to our sponsors: The Prime Leaf, SAINTS Dispensary, High West Farms, Piñatas Cannabis, Halo Infusions, Timeless Cannabis, and Flav.

IOU Sushi III has closed. The all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant on North Oracle Road announced the news on Facebook after about 10 years in Tucson. “This is the hardest post I’ve had to write,” the owners said. The post continued, “we have met some great friends who have become family to us.” Tucson Foodie first visited the restaurant in 2017, when it operated as IOU Sushi IV.

Anne Rysdale built @sheltercocktaillounge in 1961 with concrete walls, lava rock, and Cold War nerves. Today, owners Pam Santangelo and Kevin Breutzmann keep the Tucson bar exactly as regulars remember it. Inside, martinis share space with JFK memorabilia, a vintage atomic chandelier, and a suit of armor named Charlie. “Tucson is changing so much, but this has stayed the same. It’s a time capsule,” Santangelo said.
