Pizza restaurant Ciao Down announced on its Facebook page Wednesday morning it will soon open its second location in Oro Valley. The new restaurant will open during the week of Aug. 4 at 10565 N. Oracle Rd., next to First Watch. The Oro Valley restaurant will operate from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday.

Menu Highlights
Guests can expect the same wood-fired pizzas, fresh salads, and appetizers from the original location. This includes the signature Snake Bite pizza with chipotle-raspberry jam, jalapeños, cream cheese, and hickory bacon.
Additionally, the Oro Valley restaurant will feature a Zero Proof Sparkle Bar, ice tea, and a full lineup of Olipop craft sodas. Adult beverages, including cocktails, margaritas, beer, and wine, are set to be added by September.
Furthermore, those with a sweet tooth will find plenty to love. The new location will carry a rotating selection of desserts from Ciao Down’s own Treat bakery. Expect cookies, pastries and other goodies, plus artisan ice cream from Licks Ice Cream & Coffee, to round out the menu.
From Food Truck to Two Pizzerias
Ciao Down launched as a pizza food truck in 2015 and gained a loyal following for its playful pies. Owner Paul Reyes opened Ciao Down’s first brick-and-mortar restaurant in 2022 at 3230 N. Dodge Blvd. in Tucson. The original Ciao Down “culinary studio” is nestled in midtown’s Metal Arts Village, just steps from Tucson Hop Shop. Earlier this year, Ciao Down expanded within its original space by debuting Treat, a dessert shop and bakery, at the same address.
