It may be after Independence Day, but summer eats are only beginning.
Saguaro Corners Restaurant & Bar is kicking off their first monthly beer dinner with Dragoon Brewing Company from 6 – 8:30 p.m. on Monday, July 10.
The four-course dinner is $55 a person and includes four 11 ounce beers as well.
There is limited seating so make your reservations early by calling (520) 886-2020, and specify that you are making a reservation for the beer dinner.
So, get over your Monday blues and head down to the eastern edge of the Saguaro National Park for a meal paired with one of Tucson’s favorite craft beers.

First Course
- Grilled Watermelon and Heirloom Tomato Salad – Arugula, Queso Fresco, Serrano Vinaigrette
- Paired with Dragoon IPA
Second Course
- Burger and Dog – Chorizo Slider Dog, Green Ketchup, Cumin Mustard, Ground Pork Belly Slider, Pickled Jicama, Manchego Cheese, Yucca Chips
- Paired with Monsooner Dortmunder Lager
Third Course
- Steak and Potatoes – Marinated Grilled Hangar Steak, Sweet Corn Succotash, Red White & Blue Potato Gratin, Smoked Salsa Steak Sauce
- Paired with Stronghold Session Brown Ale
Fourth Course
- Apple Pie – Apple Crisp, Bourbon Caramel, Cheddar Tuile, Secret Ice Cream
- Paired with “The Seis” Russian Imperial Stout

More about MattAt a very young age, Matt Sterner was gifted with the artistic ability to masterfully roll a burrito to the highest of standards, but the wrapped medley of delicious innards wasn’t his first love. Matt’s first true love was a combination of reading, writing, and creating. He grew up reading comics, the ingredients list of his shampoo and conditioner bottles, choose-your-own-adventure books, and the Scrabble dictionary — something he found useful when challenging his grandmother to a game.
He attended college at New Mexico State University and graduated with a degree in Digital Filmmaking. One of his favorite classes was screenwriting because he became responsible for the story’s birth before it came to life on-screen. After school, Matt took on numerous positions at a local television station in Tucson. From dealing out stories about heartbreak to producing “fluffier” content for a lifestyle broadcast, he learned what it takes to adapt to the many emotions the world of media can stir. Since 2017, Matt has dabbled in the culinary world of Tucson as well as San Diego, California from time to time.
