Casa Asada Taquería y Cervecería will host a Foodie Dinner on Wednesday, May 27. The event begins at 6 p.m. at 2502 N. Campbell Ave. The dinner follows Casa Asada’s recent recognition from Food & Wine as one of the “8 Hottest New Taco Spots to Visit in the U.S.”
The evening will highlight seafood, mesquite-grilled steak, tacos, tostadas, crudo, cocktails, and a tequila tasting. Casa Asada will build the dinner around a broad menu that reflects its taquería and cervecería identity.
Menu for the Casa Asada Foodie Dinner
The full menu includes:
- Fresh Oysters- shucked and passed upon arrival, served chilled with limón, salsa negra, cucumber, onion, and tomato
- Traditional Ceviche Tostada – fresh catch cured in lime with tomato, cucumber, red onion, cilantro, avocado, and tostada crujiente
- Bluefin Tuna Tostada – bluefin tuna, avocado, salsa macha, serrano, crispy shallots, and sesame
- Shrimp Aguachile – wild shrimp, cucumber, red onion, cilantro, chiltepin-lime broth, and smoked chiltepin salt
- Shrimp Botanas – chilled shrimp, salsa crudo, cucumber, avocado, onion, and citrus
- Shrimp Cucarachas – crispy head-on shrimp flash fried with garlic, chile de árbol, limón, and sea salt
- Shrimp Dorados – salsa de casa, cabbage, and lime
- Carne Asada – mesquite-grilled steak, and flour tortilla
- Shaved Rib – crispy shaved rib
- Charred Octopus & Pickled Tomato Salad – charred octopus, pickled heirloom tomatoes, olive oil, and citrus
- Scallop – scallop crudo, chutama, ponzu, and cilantro
Drink Pairing
The drink pairing ($25) lineup includes a spiked horchata, a michelada, and a jamaica (hibiscus) margarita. The dinner will also include a tequila tasting.
