Food Network is seeking aspiring food truck owners to cast for the eight seasons of its show The Great Food Truck Race with chef Tyler Florence as the host.
The show starts with six three-person teams cooking in food trucks along the California coast. The least successful truck goes home each episode, while the last remaining team wins the food truck and $50,000 grand prize.
Food Network will cover the trucks, supplies, and travel expenses for the show.
Interested applicants will need to include two teammates to join the adventure. Experience can range from professional chefs to passionate home cooks.
To apply, email FoodTruckRaceCasting@criticalshows.com with your name, age, phone number, photo, proposed teammates and their photos, description of your culinary background, and the idea for your food truck. Only people who have never owned or operated their own food truck will be considered.
