Local cheesesteak restaurant Frankie’s Cheesesteaks & Hoagies announced they are opening a second location at 3780 W. Ina Rd. #184, Marana, AZ 85741.
“We like the area,” said Kerry Lajeunesse, who owns Frankie’s with her husband Dorian Lajeunesse. “It’s busy over there. A lot of people have been asking for a location over there.”
The 2,500-square-foot space previously housed Peter Piper Pizza, which moved across the street.

“It’s going to be the same menu, but we’ll have an updated modern feel to it with a more open concept,” Kerry said.
Beer and wine will also be available. The tentative opening is mid-June.
The Lajeunesses took ownership of Frankie’s in January 2017. The existing location is at 2574 N. Campbell Ave. Frank “Frankie” Santos founded the business with his wife Deb Santos in 2003; he passed away mid-2018.
