Though the Arizona vineyards and wineries are a short drive from Tucson, some of the best are making a stop in downtown Tucson.
Rejoice in Arizona wine and local art at the second annual Grapes to Glass: Art & Wine Festival 6 – 9 p.m. on Saturday, October 29 on the Maynards Market & Kitchen patio.
Wines from nine vineyards and wineries will be available for sampling along with some light bites.
The G.O.A.T. (Glassblowing on a Trailer) from Sonoran Glass School will feature live glassblowing. Custom made, hand-blown artisanal wine glasses made at their non-profit studios will be available for sale. Additionally, guests can also pay to make their own wine glass on the G.O.A.T. alongside one of the instructors.

To further customize the handcrafted wine glasses, Creative Juices Art Bar will have a wine glass painting station.
Curated local artworks will be on display so guests can can view and purchase the works of local artists including Valerie and Vanessa Galloway, Eliza Craig of Willies Fort, and Maynards’ and Hotel Congress’ own employees.
A portion of proceeds benefits the Arizona Vigneron’s Alliance, which is dedicated to improve and protect Arizona Wine Growing regions.
Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 the day of the event. Admission includes a commemorative wine glass and wine yoke.
