At the Crooked Tooth Brewing Co. taproom, partner Julie Vernon has greeted me warmly with beer and hugs countless times. During her Saturday morning beer yoga class, she has been patient and understanding of my yoga incompetence.
Although she has a healthy lifestyle, something wasn’t feeling right.
Long story short, Julie will need brain surgery that will cost something in the six figure range. Even with successful surgery, she will experience total hearing loss in her right ear along with possible facial paralysis, and possible vertigo and balance issues. Additionally, recovery from surgery will take at least three months.
Julie’s too humble to ask for help, but her friend Alaina Chapin started a GoFundMe. After some convincing from Alaina, the campaign went live.
