Weeks after MiAn Sushi & Modern Asian Cuisine and Hoki Poki closed its downtown location, the Hoki Poki at 6501 E. Grant Rd. quietly closed.
Hoki Poki posted on their Facebook page Friday afternoon about their East Grant Road location:
Our sincere apologies, but due to a blown water heater, our Grant Rd location is temporarily closed and will re-open ASAP! We will keep you posted and thank you for remaining loyal fans and patrons.
However, a document dated June 27 posted on the restaurant window stated the tenant failed to meet the lease agreement.
Hoki Poki ownership could not be reached for comment.
[07/02/2018, 1:50 p.m. update:] The Hoki Poki at 2643 N. Campbell Ave., the last remaining location, could also not be reached via phone. It appears closed, although there is no notice on the door.
Stay tuned for additional information.
Keep up with Hoki Poki on Facebook.
