As will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas didn’t say, “mix your stout with my Cocoa Puffs, stouty stouty cocoa.”
Pueblo Vida Brewing Company is serving their Breakfast Stout infused with Cocoa Puffs breakfast cereal and bourbon-soaked wood chips tonight at 4 p.m., July 12.
“After the success of the Amber with Cinnamon Toast Crunch we wanted to kick it up with the Breakfast Stout using Cocoa Puff chocolate goodness and some bourbon to excite the palate,” said Audra McKinney, beer server at Pueblo Vida.
Cereal beer isn’t a regular thing for Pueblo Vida, but infusions are. Every Tuesday, they infuse one of their beers with a new flavor, never repeating the same combinations. Next week, it’s Pale Ale with apricots.
