[12/27/2018 Editor’s Note: Despite the initial information provided for this article, Las Margaritas ended up closing in November.]
After receiving a tip from a Tucson Foodie reader that the Las Margaritas at 6011 N. Oracle Rd. was scheduled to close in November 2018, we reached out to Las Margaritas.
As it turns out, that was initially the case. But now they have a little longer.
“The landowner and property manager have agreed to extend the current lease until May 2019,” said David W., manager at Las Margaritas. “It’s a small respite, but at that point we’ll see where the good energies take us.”
The Grant location closed in December 2017 for “an offer too good refuse,” but the remaining Oracle location will be dependent on how the lease changes.
“We’ve been here for over 38 years,” David said. “We’re very pleased with our customer base and want to do everything we can to carry on.”
Stay tuned for updates.
