Whole Foods Market, located at 7133 N Oracle Road, will celebrate its first anniversary Thursday, August 27. The festivities, which will happen throughout the day, include food and drink specials, live music, giveaways, “dollar” specials, and local vendors.
A number of notable local food and beverage vendors will be present during two different “shifts” (11am-2pm and 5pm-7pm). From the looks of the list, however, it appears the majority will be present from 5pm to 7pm. Vendors include:
- Adventures Coffee Roasting, 11 – 2
- Isabellas Ice Cream, 5 – 7 pm
- Whiskey Del Bac, 5 – 7 pm
- Tucson Tamale Company, 5 – 7 pm
- Birds Nest Granola, 5 – 7 pm
- Epicurean Seasoning, 5 – 7 pm
- Chaco Flaco, 5 – 7 pm
- Arizona Cactus Ranch prickly pear jelly, 5 – 7 pm
- R Bar, 5 – 7 pm
“We’ve enjoyed reopening our new location and getting to know our neighbors once again,” said Whole Foods Market River Road store team leader Scott Holmes. “We look forward to growing with our community and continuing to offer the great food and events.”
Folk music duo Celeste Amadee & Stephanie Meryl will perform from 6 to 9 pm.
