Rita Ranch Italian restaurant Mama Louisa’s on Houghton at 7545 S. Houghton Rd. has permanently closed after almost four years in business.
The restaurant announced the following on their Facebook page Saturday morning:
Theresa and David Mowery opened Mama Louisa’s on Houghton mid-2014. The restaurant space previously held China View Bistro.
The Elefante family runs the original Mama Louisa’s at 2041 S. Craycroft Rd. — the two restaurants are owned and operated independently. The original Mama Louisa’s is currently open and has no plans to close.
