This month, we’re inviting members of our Tucson Foodie Insiders club to bring a plus one to our monthly member mixer.
On Thursday, March 14, we’ll all be at MotoSonora in honor of their fourth anniversary, tasting their beer and sampling pizza from their new concept, Pizza Sonora.
If you’re not an Insider, find one (there are over 800 out there now) and ask to be their plus one. Or, join Insiders and bring your own plus one. Or hustle me on Instagram (@shanereiser) and I’ll pair you up with an Insider who hasn’t chosen their plus one yet.
The Food
Every attendee will enjoy free bites of Pizza Sonora’s unique and delicious pizzas, including:
- Chicken tikka pizza (collaboration with Saffron Indian Restaurant)
- Chana masala pizza (collaboration with Saffron Indian Restaurant)
- Cheese pizza
- Pepperoni pizza
- Elote pizza
- If we’re lucky, they’ll have some of their newest pizza: a curry-based pizza (think red curry Thai chicken), a new collaboration with Senae Thai Bistro
The Beer
Every attendee gets two four-ounce beer samples on the house. This is a great opportunity to try any of MotoSonora’s beers, including:
- Belly Tank Blonde Ale
- Victory or Death IPA
- Fog Lights Hazy IPA
- Testarossa Raspberry Hibiscus Ale (my personal favorite)
The Prizes
Every hour starting at 4 p.m., MotoSonora will be raffling off swag (shirts and hats) and gift cards from Empire Pizza and MotoSonora. We’ll also do some fun Tucson Foodie Insider giveaways for all the plus ones in the room.
