Fox Restaurant Concepts’ North Italia celebrates spring à la Italy with the tastes of fresh basil, heirloom tomatoes, and more.
The upscale Italian restaurant at 2995 E. Skyline Dr. in the La Encantada shopping recently introduced nine new spring items onto their menu.
For a taste more complex than a caprese, North offers the Heirloom Tomato & Burrata ($11) with fresh basil, cucumber, red onion, herb crouton, and sherry vinaigrette.
Heirloom tomatoes are also highlighted for dinner via the Heirloom Tomato Salad ($11) with romaine, avocado, sweet corn, Marcona almond, pecorino, and basil vinaigrette.
House-made Burrata Tortelloni ($17) includes sweet little heirloom cherry tomatoes, basil, pecorino, and rustic tomato sugo.
The Diver Scallops ($25) features spring asparagus, crispy shallot, and pancetta gremolata on top of sweet corn risotto.
Guests who long for heartier fare can still enjoy North classics such as the Red Wine Glazed Short Rib and Squid Ink Mafaldine.
