Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort executive pastry chef Shelli Soto will compete on Food Network’s Halloween Cake-Off.
Soto and a group of pastry chefs will team up over two rounds making spooky Halloween-themed creations.
“I am inspired by people’s reactions to what I create,” Soto said in a press release. “I want them to taste something amazing and also see a work of art in front of them.”
In Soto’s episode, contestants will work with fermented ingredients sauerkraut and pickled watermelon rind.
Watch Soto and her team compete on Halloween Cake-Off at 10 p.m., 9 Central on Monday, October 7.
