JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa opened JW Market, which features local specialty snacks and products along with regionally-inspired flatbreads, artisan sandwiches, soups, and salads.
“We’re thrilled to be the prototype for the new JW Market concept,” said Russ Bond, general manager at the property. “After relocating the Starbucks to the upper lobby level, we had this expansive space and opportunity to offer yet another flexible dining experience, ultimately creating a fusion of Southern Arizona culture with a creative and convenient market-style atmosphere that would appeal to a diverse group of guests.”
Located on the lower lobby level, JW Market was inspired by the open-air festivals and mercados of Southern Arizona and Sonora, Mexico. Decor includes hand-painted accents, tin-mirrors, bright, colorful papel picado and hand-woven basketry, and chalkboard menus.
Happy hour specials are displayed on a roll of butcher paper. The market also includes rotating beer and wine taps.

Products in the market include Isabella’s Ice Cream, RBar Energy, Arizona Gunslinger hot sauce, [POPPED] Artisan Popcorn.
The JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa is located at 3800 W. Starr Pass Blvd. For more information, call 520-792-3500 or visit jwstarrpass.com.
