Although Stray Dogs closed their doors in January, their loaded milkshake spirit will live on in their sister restaurant, Zona 78.
“We had such an overwhelming amount of requests for the shakes that we decided OK, let’s go for it,” said Lauren Valenzuela, marketing manager at Zona 78.
Beginning Friday, March 2, Zona 78 will offer the Loaded Donut, Churrochatta, and a rotating shake that will change twice a month.
Stray Dogs’ Churrochatta features an horchata milkshake with a salted caramel rim dipped in Cinnamon Toast Crunch, whipped cream, caramel, and made-to-order churros. The Loaded Donut features a Butterfinger milkshake with a chocolate rim dipped in Kix Cereal, whipped cream, sprinkles, Butterfinger, and a made-to-order doughnut.
“We are excited because we have real pastry chefs at Zona that cant wait to play with recipes,” Valenzuela said.
Keep up with Zona 78 on Facebook.
