Spring is upon us and businesses are springin’ into action.
Ten55 Brewing Company just announced that it’s reopening its kitchen at the downtown brewery, along with a few other additional enhancements.

The new menu, which is a refresh of its well-known pub cuisine concept, now includes dishes that were intentionally created to pair with its line-up of craft beers.
Sure, the menu is a bit scaled-back and smaller than it used to be, but it’ll offer 13 different selections — Snacks, Mains, Handhelds, and Dessert categories. Additionally, new dishes are expected to be added on a regular basis.

On top of that, Ten55 Brewing has a new packaged beer program with two canned beers, and also an agreement with Finley Distributing to send off its kegs and cans across southern Arizona.

The brewery is now canning two of its signature beers, Casa55, a new, light-bodied golden ale brewed with flaked corn, and its flagship XOXO Coffee Stout, an American stout infused with cold brew coffee from Tucson’s Exo Coffee Roasters.
“Not only did we keep our heads about us and remain intact through this soon-ending pandemic, we have been able to continue brewing our signature beers, getting them out into our community, and keeping our growing brewery alive and kicking,” said Chris Squires, managing partner.

The canned beers are available to-go from the brewery, and at many grocery stores, markets, and liquor stores across Southern Arizona through a new distribution agreement with Tucson-based Finley Distributing.
Ten55 Brewing Company is located at 110 E. Congress Street. For more information, call (520) 777-7877 or visit 1055brewing.com.

Matt Sterner
More about MattAt a very young age, Matt Sterner was gifted with the artistic ability to masterfully roll a burrito to the highest of standards, but the wrapped medley of delicious innards wasn’t his first love. Matt’s first true love was a combination of reading, writing, and creating. He grew up reading comics, the ingredients list of his shampoo and conditioner bottles, choose-your-own-adventure books, and the Scrabble dictionary — something he found useful when challenging his grandmother to a game.
He attended college at New Mexico State University and graduated with a degree in Digital Filmmaking. One of his favorite classes was screenwriting because he became responsible for the story’s birth before it came to life on-screen. After school, Matt took on numerous positions at a local television station in Tucson. From dealing out stories about heartbreak to producing “fluffier” content for a lifestyle broadcast, he learned what it takes to adapt to the many emotions the world of media can stir. Since 2017, Matt has dabbled in the culinary world of Tucson as well as San Diego, California from time to time.
If you’re in the mood for strange stories, head over to his pride and joy, wonkytimes.com. And in case you’re curious — yes, after all of this time, he still manages to roll a killer burrito.
