Fondue lovers will need a moment.
Tampa, Florida-based fondue restaurant The Melting Pot has closed their Tucson location in the Foothills Mall at 7395 N. La Cholla Blvd., Ste 302 indefinitely as of Monday, May 29.
The Melting Pot’s Tucson website announced the following:
“[…] We appreciate the opportunity to have served the Tucson community for over 13 years at this location. While there are no confirmed plans to re-open this location, The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc., has a strong interest to return to the Tucson community in the future.
The franchisee plans to seek a new site in Tucson to better serve the market and bring The Melting Pot’s exciting new store concept design to the marketplace. No replacement site has been secured at this time.
We invite you to continue to enjoy fondue at the nearest Melting Pot locations in the Phoenix metro area, including Ahwatukee, Scottsdale and Arrowhead.
Diners seeking a local fondue option can visit Wild Garlic Grill for the Gilroy Garlic Swiss Fondue with Fresh-Baked Sourdough Bread or DOWNTOWN Kitchen + Cocktails for the Grilled Garlic + Mushroom Bread with leek fondue.
