Three Wells Distilling Company is opening a cocktail room at its distillery on Saturday, October 22. The cocktail room will be located at the distillery at 3780 E. 44th St.

“We looked around at all of the great things Tucson craft brewers are doing with their tap rooms and saw a need we can fulfill in the city,” said Matt Montgomery, Three Wells distiller and co-founder. “The unique experience of drinking beer crafted right there, while looking at the inner workings of a craft brewery is so cool and Chris and I realized that we have the opportunity to provide folks with a similar experience at our distillery. How cool to enjoy a craft cocktail made from spirits that could be running out of the stills as you imbibe.”

The cocktail room is in the heart of the distillery floor for an intimate look at distillery operations. Three Wells will serve cocktails crafted from the house-made spirits as well as select spirits from other Arizona craft distilleries. Customers will also receive samples of products in the research and development phase.

The cocktail menu is undergoing finalization but will be ready by the grand opening.

Following the grand opening, the cocktail room will be open for happy hour every Thursday from 4-7 pm and Friday from 4-8 with hours expanding based on customer demand.

Three Wells was founded in 2013 by business partners Matt Montgomery and Chris Dudding. Their first product Sonora Silver was released in September of 2015, followed by Sonora Copper and Agave Silver. Their newest spirit, Mt. Lemmon Gin, was released May 2016.

More details on Tucsonfoodie.com #tucson #tucsonfoodieTwo days at @Hiltonelcon felt like the ultimate staycation. Between the pools, hot spring and cold plunge, water slide, yoga, live music, complimentary bike rentals, and their nostalgic “Summer Rewind” experience, there was always something to do. We never left the resort.

The highlight at their on-site restaurant, Epazote Kitchen & Cocktails, was the Pollo Con Rajas - perfectly cooked chicken over a rich creamed poblano, onion, and corn mestizaje. And if you’re at their Sundance Café for breakfast, get the pozole. It’s made from a family recipe that became such a guest favorite it earned a permanent spot on the menu.

Although El Conquistador licenses the Hilton brand, it’s owned and operated by a local company. The culinary team sources much of its meat and produce from Arizona.

Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway or just looking for an incredible dinner with Catalina Mountain views, this spot is worth adding to your list. 🌵🌞
