If you’re in need of family friendly Saturday night plans, Maynards Market & Kitchen is hosting an Ice Cream Showdown tomorrow, September 10.
A portion of event proceeds will be donated to Ben’s Bells of Tucson, an organization created to help spread kindness.
The third annual Ice Cream Showdown will showcase eight gelato and ice cream competitors throughout Tucson.
The following ice creameries will be present at the event:
- Brushfire BBQ Co.
- The Cup Cafe
- HUB Ice Cream Factory
- Isabella’s Ice Cream
- Maynards Market
- Sullivan’s Eatery & Creamery
- Tazzina di Gelato
- The Screamery
Of course, Maynards Market & Kitchen will also have food available (not included in the price of the showdown ticket). Executive Chef Michael Bryer and his culinary team have prepared a menu of barbecue favorites.
And to entertain your little ones, Ben’s Bells is bringing coloring books, kindness coins, and Kind Crusader super heroes.
As a bonus, for the kiddos into Disney’s Frozen, princesses Anna and Elsa will also be attending the showdown.
Tickets to the event are priced at $10 and include ten tastings. Additional tastings will be available for $1 each.
