Tucson bladesmith Michael Seronde posted a teaser on his Instagram about his appearance as a contestant in next week’s episode of History Channel show Forged in Fire:

The episode is scheduled to air on Wednesday, March 13.
“Showing my work to the judges, who are all experts in their field, was an honor and felt incredibly validating,” Seronde said.
Forged in Fire features bladesmiths competing to re-create some of history’s most iconic edged weapons. The winner of each episode wins $10,000.
