Our friends at Tucson City of Gastronomy (TCOG), the nonprofit behind our region’s UNESCO designation, are hiring a full-time program manager to help lead programs, events, and outreach efforts that make our city’s food system more vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable.
What’s the job?
Under the direction of Executive Director Jonathan Mabry, this role will coordinate and implement a wide range of programs — from event planning and storytelling to working directly with chefs, farmers, and food artisans across southern Arizona. You’ll also have a hand in communications, grant writing, volunteer management, and community building.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a detail-loving organizer, and someone who thrives in a mission-driven environment. Fluency in Spanish, Tohono O’odham, or Yoeme/Yaqui is a big plus, but not required. Most work can be done remotely, with occasional in-person events and meetings.
Highlights:
- Salary: $55,000–$60,000 annually, DOE
