Vitality Bowls Unveils a Limited-Time Apple Pie Bowl for the Holidays

Dec 5, 20231 min read

‘Tis the season for holiday specials and Vitality Bowls, which opened earlier this year in May, has announced a limited-time menu item perfect for ringing in the winter season.

Introducing the Apple Pie Bowl. It’s an açaí bowl made with a base of organic açaí, strawberries, banana, almond butter, cinnamon, juiced apple, and almond milk topped with organic granola, banana, apple, organic mulberries, honey and cinnamon.

It’s like a holiday party in your belly.

Keep in mind that the bowl is available only during the month of December 2023.

Vitality Bowls also offers a variety of tasty options, such as the Dragon Bowl (featuring pitaya, pineapple, coconut milk, goji berries, and bee pollen), Green Bowl (with Graviola, strawberries, kale, dates, spirulina, and hemp seeds), and their signature Vitality Bowl (with organic açaí, strawberries, banana, organic granola, and honey).

In addition to açaí bowls and smoothies, the brand boasts a diverse menu that includes warm and savory items including salads, grain bowls, wraps, and toasts loaded with all-natural, grass-fed and sous-vide prepared meats, nutritional ingredients, and a wide range of superfood toppings.

IOU Sushi III has closed. The all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant on North Oracle Road announced the news on Facebook after about 10 years in Tucson. “This is the hardest post I’ve had to write,” the owners said. The post continued, “we have met some great friends who have become family to us.” Tucson Foodie first visited the restaurant in 2017, when it operated as IOU Sushi IV.

Anne Rysdale built @sheltercocktaillounge in 1961 with concrete walls, lava rock, and Cold War nerves. Today, owners Pam Santangelo and Kevin Breutzmann keep the Tucson bar exactly as regulars remember it. Inside, martinis share space with JFK memorabilia, a vintage atomic chandelier, and a suit of armor named Charlie. “Tucson is changing so much, but this has stayed the same. It’s a time capsule,” Santangelo said.
