If you don’t have plans tonight, CRUSH pARTy is seriously one heck of a fun time. From the press release:
CRUSH pARTy, Southern Arizona’s premier wine, food and art festival, takes over the Tucson Museum of Art from 6 to 9pm, Friday, April 10. The event, which happens annually, will be held throughout the Museum’s beautiful courtyards at 140 N. Main Ave. VIP activities for CRUSH pARTy begin at 5 p.m.
CRUSH features 24 of Tucson’s trend-setting restaurants, each providing small plates, plus wines from around the world, craft beers, and spirits. The pARTy also includes live entertainment from Cirque Roots, music, a silent auction, and free admission to the Museum’s blockbuster exhibition The Figure Examined: Selections from the Kasser Mochary Art Foundation.
New tastings this year include Casamigos Tequila (crafted for George Clooney); local craft beer from Barrio Brewing Company; and Maynard’s AZ Red, made from grapes grown at Golden Rule Vineyards and bottled by Rob Hammelman of Sand-Reckoner Vineyards, both from Cochise County, Arizona.
Ruth and Jim Graham of Golden Rule Vineyards will pour their award-winning regional wines. Back by popular demand, Aaron DeFeo, of Casino del Sol, will return to demonstrate his unique mixology talents. There will also be 12 tables of American and international wines courtesy of Alliance Beverage Distributing Company, Synergy Fine Wines, Southern Wine and Spirits, and Total Wine.
This year’s trend-setting restaurants and caterers include: Acacia, Armitage Wine Lounge & Café, Agustin Kitchen, Cup Café, Downtown Kitchen + Cocktails, El Charro Café, Feast, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Hub Restaurant and Ice Creamery, Lodge On the Desert, Jackson Tavern, Maynards Market & Kitchen, Nox, Pastiche, Poppy Kitchen, Prep & Pastry, Primo, PY Steakhouse, RA Sushi Bar. Restaurant, Reilly Craft Pizza & Drink, Seis Kitchen & Catering, Sir Veza’s Taco Garage, Tavolino, and Vivace.
