Zivaz Mexican Bistro quietly closed its doors indefinitely without reason given.
A sign posted on the front door states:
“July 18, 2018
To the wonderful ZIVAZ FRIENDS and family.
It has been our pleasure serving the community for the past 12 and a half years. With hearts full of sadness, we announce the closing of Zivaz. We thank you for the support and memories you have given us, and we wish you all the best.
Thank you,
Felipe and Cecilia Valenzuela”
Zivaz could not be reached directly for comment. While their Facebook page has been active until recently, no statement has been posted about the closure.
The fast-casual Mexican restaurant at 4590 E. Broadway Blvd. opened in November 2005, serving an eclectic range of dish ranging from the obscure Caldo Tlalpeño to their signature Angus Beef Asada Burger.
