On the Menu Live, Tucson’s Food-Centric Radio Program, Moves to 104.1 KQTH FM

On the Menu Live, also known as Tucson’s “most delicious hour on radio,” has moved from KEVT 1210 AM to 104.1 KQTH FM. Starting March 5, the show will air live every Saturday from 5 to 6pm.

The popular radio show brings listeners news and updates on Southern Arizona’s growing food scene, and frequently broadcasts right from local restaurants and bars. Guests include local chefs, sommeliers, winemakers, distillers, mixologists, restaurateurs, and other culinary and cocktail characters from the front and back of the house.

“We’re really looking forward to working with our new partners at 104.1, a station that has demonstrated for years a commitment to excellence in programming,” said Matt Russell, a Tucson public relations executive who owns, produces, and hosts the weekly show.

In addition to his Saturday broadcasts, Russell will host a weekly segment on KQTH’s Tucson Morning News featuring the week’s best food and beverage happenings. He will also participate in local culinary events, including Iron Chef Tucson, Tales of the Keg, and Brew Bowl.

“We’ll be joining a line-up that includes many of Tucson’s best known local shows, which makes it such a great fit with our local focus,” Russell continued. “Plus, we’ve hit the coveted sweet spot with our new 5:00 pm slot, which means that it will likely be happy hour wherever we’ll be broadcasting from.”

Sponsors of On the Menu Live include Acacia Real Food and Cocktails, Alfonso Gourmet Olive Oil and Balsamics, Jerry’s Cigars, Tucson Foodie, and Tucson Originals.
