Tucson Greek Fest returns to downtown Tucson with food, music, dancing, and family activities. The festival takes over Jácome Plaza, 101 N. Stone Ave., on Friday, Nov. 6, and Saturday, Nov. 7. Hours run from 3-10 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday.

A bigger festival in a new downtown home

The Tucson Greek Festival began at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in 1976. It moved downtown in 2025 and sold out. This year, organizers expanded the event to two days at the larger Jácome Plaza site, which also includes the Pima County Historic Courthouse courtyard.

Tucson Appliance Company presents the 2026 festival. Organizers describe the weekend as a celebration of Greek food, music, dance, and philoxenia, the Greek tradition of welcoming every guest.

What to eat at Tucson Greek Fest

The menu features Greek favorites, plus vegan, vegetarian, nut-free, and gluten-free options. Organizers cannot guarantee an allergen-free kitchen, so guests with allergies should not rely on allergen-free preparation. Dishes include:

  • Gyro

  • Chicken Souvlaki

  • Greek Salad

  • Dolmades

  • Spanakopita

  • Saganaki

  • Baklava

  • Loukoumades

The menu also includes more items beyond this list. Bars pour Greek spirits, beer, and wine throughout the festival.

New spots join the site this year. Yia Yia’s House returns as a festival favorite. Papou’s Cafe makes its debut and serves Greek coffee and loukoumades.

Music, dancing, and family fun

Live folk music, DJ sets, and traditional folk dancing fill the schedule. Greek-American singer Evangelia performs, and youth dancers take the stage. Organizers will post the final entertainment schedule on the festival website.

Families can head to the Kids Zone. Vendors also sell arts, crafts, and merchandise, so guests can shop between bites.

Tickets and VIP details

General admission costs $10. It covers entry to the food, bars, vendors, live music, and performances. Family four-packs are also available.

VIP tickets cost $125 and add several perks:

  • Exclusive bar

  • Two free drinks

  • Complimentary buffet

  • Voucher for saganaki or loukoumades

  • Up-close entertainment seating

  • Wine tastings

  • VIP-only restrooms

  • Lounge access

VIP areas open from 5-9:30 p.m. Friday and from 3-9:30 p.m. Saturday. VIP ticket holders can also enjoy the general admission site before and after those hours.

Children 6 and under enter free with a ticketed adult. Guests under 16 need a parent or guardian. Buy tickets on Eventbrite or at the gate, subject to availability.

Plan your visit

The festival runs cashless. Vendors accept all major credit and debit cards, plus mobile payments. Guests need a valid photo ID to buy or drink alcohol, and staff issue wristbands after the ID check.

Guests cannot bring outside food or beverages, including water bottles. The festival runs rain or shine unless lightning or another major danger arises. The site is accessible, though the ground can feel uneven in spots.

Paid garages and lots sit near the plaza. Guests can also ride the Sun Link streetcar downtown.
