Now that the colder months have brought in colder waters, it’s time to indulge in oysters from all over the country.

Kingfisher is hosting their 8th Annual Oysterfest on Saturday, October 28 to celebrate the seasonal bounty of oysters.

Beginning at 10 a.m., Kingfisher’s Oysterfest tent will house elite oyster shuckers prepping over a dozen different types of oysters from all over the country. Crystal Point, Ranier, Totem Point, Kumiai, Malpeque, North Shore Gold, and more will be available.

Those who prefer their molluscs cooked can choose from Guinness Oyster Stew, Oysters Rockefeller, Oysters Storyville, Fried Oysters and more. Additionally, clam chowder aficionados can experience both popular variants, New England and Manhattan.

A limited lunch menu of Kingfisher favorites will be available as well.
