With Sonoran Restaurant Week in full effect here in Tucson, I have compiled a list of restaurants offering quality vegan options. This is what I have been enjoying and will continue to cherish during this 10-day event full of amazing deals.

Besides, what’s better than eating delicious food while also supporting local restaurants and vendors?

Barrio Charro

3699 N. Campbell Ave.

For a savory meal on Saturday, I stopped by Barrio Charro for an early brunch with my best friend. We both had the Don’s Encanto Breakfast, which was filling and delicious paired with a couple of cold drinks. The welcoming and inviting energy at Barrio Charro made our visit the perfect first stop to initiate the festivities.

Beaut Burger

267 S. Avenida del Convento

For my husband and I, Sundays are meant for relaxing and taking a break to prepare for a busy week. So, a scrumptious pair of burgers from Beaut Burger sounds like the perfect plan for a chill day at the MSA Annex. Beaut Burger came up with a burger specially made for Sonoran Restaurant Week, which makes it even more special as it includes jalapeno relish and vegan bacon.

Arte Bella

340 N. Fourth Ave.

If things get ever get hectic, I enjoy taking my mind off it by meeting up with friends, inviting my husband for a walk, or visiting a local place. This week, I’m planning on walking down Fourth Avenue to enjoy the cooler afternoons and stopping by Arte Bella to enjoy a delicious meal. It’ll likely be the Jen’s Grown Up Grilled Cheese and the Tofu Ceviche.

Falora

3000 E. Broadway Blvd.

Midweek, my husband and I are planning a romantic date night before catching a performance by Broadway in Tucson, and what’s more romantic and intimate than dinner at Falora? The cozy and elevated feels at this beloved restaurant will surely set us up for a fun night. Their deal includes El Fauxrizo pizza, Kale Salad, and the Sorta Torta; all plant-based.

Being able to clearly see and differentiate between vegan options and regular ones in this year’s Sonoran Restaurant Week is definitely something that fills my heart with so much joy. Enjoying plant-based dishes while being surrounded by fellow foodies around town continues to fill me with compassion and it’s an experience that reminds me how amazing Tucson is. I can’t wait to continue witnessing the integration of all cuisines and lifestyles in these current deals and in the upcoming years.

Happy Sonoran Restaurant Week, fellow foodies.
