Let’s set the scene:
It’s Tucson. The summer heat is a scorcher. The city becomes a ghost town, whether that be because folks go on vacation, they temporarily move to cooler pastures, or they’re simply staying home indoors with their air conditioner.
(Insert tumbleweed rolling down a deserted street)
So, if the town is considered a ghost town why not celebrate the ghosts by throwing them a party? Trail Dust Town is celebrating summer (and ghosts) by hosting a limited-time Ghost Bar in its Savoy Opera House on Friday, July 21 – Sunday, July 23.
“This is when the spirits of Trail Dust Town come out to play, and we are throwing them a party. Join us for an evening of spirituous cocktails, bewitching snacks, live music, and spine-tingling activities.”
On Friday and Saturday from 8 – 11 p.m., Mamma Coal will be playing country tunes for both the living and the dead. Sunday from 7 – 10 p.m., a cello quartet will play classical music — a perfect way to end the haunted weekend.
Tickets are $45 per person and include entry to the decorated Savoy Opera House, two spooky cocktails, individual charcuterie snacks, live music, and all other activities. Keep in mind that this is a 21-and-over event and you’ll want to buy your tickets sooner than later on Eventbrite.
Be sure to choose the date and time that best suits your schedule.
If you’re a Foodie 500 member, Trail Dust Town is taking $5 off the ticket price. Keep an eye out for an email from us because we’ll be sharing the super secret promo code for you to use at the checkout.
Trail Dust Town and the Savoy Opera House are located at 6541 E. Tanque Verde Rd. For more information and to purchase your tickets, visit eventbrite.com.
