La Estrella Bakery is preparing to open a fourth location here in Tucson and it’s coming to downtown sometime shortly.

There still isn’t an exact opening date but the new location is at 141 S. Stone Ave. #100 — this is on the ground level of the building that also houses Home2Suites by Hilton and the Hampton Inn.

This is also across the street from the stunning Saint Augustine Cathedral on Stone Avenue (for reference you can see the beauty in the window’s reflection).

The Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce shared a sneak peek of what the bakery looks like from the inside. “Get ready to indulge in delicious treats right in the heart of our city,” the Hispanic Chamber shared on social media.

The bakery has three other spots in Tucson.

There’s one at Mercado San Agustin at 100 S. Avenida Del Convento, another in Barrio Hollywood at 901 N. Grande Ave., and then the original location on the southside at 5266 S. 12th Ave, which first opened its doors and fired up the ovens in 1986.

Stay tuned for an official grand opening date! Meanwhile, check out our visual guide to La Estrella Bakery’s sweet treats.

La Estrella Bakery’s new location will be at 141 S. Stone Ave. #100. For more information, visit laestrellabakeryincaz.com.
