Last year, Pueblo Vida Brewing Company teamed up with the University of Arizona for an official Wildcats brew — the Wildcat Cerveza.

Linette Antillon and Kyle Jefferson, the owners/founders of Pueblo Vida Brewing, share a deep love and connection to Tucson and have made it their home since graduating from the University of Arizona in 2009.

Now, sip on their second collaboration with the school!

Over the weekend, Pueblo Vida recently debuted its new Experience Unexpected IPA in partnership with Arizona Arts Live.

“Arizona Arts Live brings world-class performances to Tucson while highlighting local artists and showcasing live experiences that inspire creativity,” the Pueblo Vida team shared. “As part of the University of Arizona’s Arizona Arts division, they connect our community with global and local art, making Tucson a destination for the performing arts.”

The new IPA has a burst of peach, passion fruit, and citrus flavors. Then, a touch of hibiscus adds a light sweetness and “transforms the beer into a beautiful shade of pink.”

To celebrate this beer release, they debuted an exclusive Experience Unexpected t-shirt designed by Saywells Design and printed locally by Forward Printing. You can find the new merch online and at the downtown taproom.

Something else is brewing…

Last month, we caught wind about Pueblo Vida Brewing expanding its taproom and brewing space at 115 E. Broadway Blvd.

The team bought the 2,638-square-foot building at 40 S. Arizona Ave., which used to be the former Shot in the Dark Cafe. The space has been empty since early 2019 when the 24-hour coffee shop closed its doors.

Stay tuned for more details.
