The days of journeying across St. Philip’s Plaza to get from one Ren Coffeehouse concept to another are long gone.

Earlier this month, Bakery By Ren relocated to 4300 N. Campbell Ave. #12 (formerly at 4320 N Campbell Ave. #43) Now, the new spot shares the wall with Ren Coffeehouse, allowing folks to easily wander from one spot to the other.

What used to be a two- to three-minute walk is now just a few steps away, and the team is amped about being even more connected than before.

“We decided to move our bakery location closer to our coffeehouse to better integrate our two concepts,” said Lydia Lane, General Manager. “It allows our bakery staff to focus their time and efforts fully on baked goods. We have such a talented staff, and we wanted to make sure we gave them the opportunity to make something really special here in the plaza.”

It’s much brighter inside the new bakery thanks to more natural light creeping in, and customers have a nice view of the open-concept kitchen.

“It’s been fun to share the experience of our craft with our guests,” Lane added. “Outside, we now share the same courtyard with our sister concept, Ren Coffeehouse, and it finally feels like we are one team.”

“Over the past few years, in our old space, we’ve worked to hone our skill and unique style of making craft baked goods and espresso drinks,” said Chandler Donald, Bakery Manager. “There’s a great deal of love, and joy that goes into every loaf of bread, pastry, and beverage, and I’m confident that everyone can find something at our bakery — making their day that much sweeter.”

There’s a lot to choose from at the bakery. Other than their baked goods, they’re serving simple espresso and tea options, grab-and-go sandwiches, and yogurt parfaits. Weekend sandwich specials are on deck, too, made with fresh bread loaves and sourdough pretzels.

The menu changes weekly, but is shared on the bakery’s Instagram.

Grand Opening Celebration

On Friday, March 21 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., the Ren team will be hosting a “patio party” to celebrate the bakery’s new location.

There’s going to be bakery and coffeehouse samples and some fun new tote bags for sale. Also, sample products from Ren’s local suppliers Alfonso Olive Oil and Balsamics and Better Than Provisions granola. Lastly, they’ll have face paintings from Face Me Portraits.

“We’re really excited to see where this move takes us and that we have an opportunity to continue to serve our community,” said Lane.

The bakery is currently open daily from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Bakery By Ren is now located at 4300 N. Campbell Ave. #12 (formerly at 4320 N Campbell Ave. #43). For more information, follow Bakery by Ren on Instagram and visit rencoffeehouse.com.
