On Saturday, May 24th from 6-10pm, the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, in association with Tucson Originals and KOLD will host the first Desert Dessert Night.
If you’ve ever attended one of the many culinary festivals in Tucson, it will be a similar format with a number of Tucson Originals restaurants offering samples. In addition, Desert Dessert Night will include:
- Twilight museum viewings
- Commemorative mug
- Specialty coffees and prickly pear margaritas for purchase
- Cookie baking demo by Rocco of Rocco’s Little Chicago Pizzeria
- Presentation on using native ingredients
- A competition by vote for the best dessert
- Photography exhibition
- Live music
