Giving back never tasted so good.
Sample eats from nearby restaurants, sip local wine and beer, listen to live music, and help “stomp out” hunger, poverty, and homelessness with a grape stomp at Eat, Drink & Be Giving at Plaza Colonial from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. Friday, October 5.
Nonprofit organizations Arizona Youth Partnership, GAP Ministries, and Interfaith Community Services teamed up to organize the event, which will benefit their missions to help hungry and struggling families in our community.
In addition to delectable food and beverage tasting, guests can also enjoy live music, games and selfie stations, and can try their hand at an “experience raffle” brimming with dining and entertainment packages to sports, spa and day trip adventures. At the end of the night, cheer on personalities from iHeart Media, Yelp, and Tucson Foodie as they go toe-to-toe in a Grape Stomp for a Cause — a la Lucy-style. The friendly competition is designed to “stomp out poverty” raising awareness of the issue as well as the work each organization is doing to assist neighbors in need.
Single tickets are $40 each or $70 for two. Or choose the VIP ticket, which includes early access to the event and VIP gift. VIP tickets are $55 each or two for $100. The idea is to keep ticket prices low so that young couples can enjoy an affordable night out, while making a difference. Tickets and more information are available at eatdrinkbegiving.com.
