Check out Rocco’s “Pizza Apson” inspired by Tacos Apson

Jun 6, 20181 min read

With so many chef recommendations, Tacos Apson has earned legendary taco status in Tucson. In the latest twist of events, they’ve been immortalized (for the month) via the pizza of the month at Rocco’s Little Chicago Pizzeria, the Pizza Apson.

The inspired white pizza is topped with carne asada, grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, and green chiles, served with a side of chiltepin salsa.

Considering the cult following both of these restaurants have on their own, don’t miss out on this unique creation.

Rocco’s Little Chicago Pizzeria is located at 2707 E. Broadway Blvd. For more information, visit roccoslittlechicago.com.

Tucson’s food scene draws people to the city year-round. Locals and visitors alike also appreciate the chance to eat outdoors from October through April, when daytime highs often settle in the 60s and 70s. Even on “cold” evenings, a patio with a heater or fire pit keeps dinner comfortable.

Whether you want a quiet brunch, a lively happy hour, or a long dinner under the stars, this list offers a place to start. Check each restaurant’s hours before you go, since patio seating may vary by weather and season. More details on Tucsonfoodie.com.🌞
