CraftBeer.com’s annual Great American Beer Bars honors one beer bar from each state based on reader votes regarding atmosphere, staff, beer selection, and special events.
While the 2016 award went to Scottdale’s Fate Brewing Company (now McFate Brewing Company), the 2017 Arizona title resides in Tucson with Tucson Hop Shop, 3230 N. Dodge Blvd.
Tucson Hop Shop is celebrating 5 – 11 p.m. on March 11 by releasing a commemorative Rastal Craftmaster glass. Additionally, growlers fills will be $2 off the regular price.
Live music will be provided by The Titan Valley Warheads on the main stage from 5 – 8 p.m., while Arkansas folk duo Melody Pond perform from 8 – 10 p.m. in the Urban Beer Garden.
Food trucks Tucson Fat Noodle and Luke’s Pizza will be onsite in the Metal Arts Village for dinner.
