What’s New at This Month’s Vegan Night Market (December 7)

Dec 4, 20245 min read

Vegan Night Market, hosted by Death Free Foodie and Tucson Foodie, is back on Saturday, December 7 from 5 – 8 p.m., returning to the Rillito Park at 4502 N. First Ave.

New to the Vegan Night Market

It’s the season of giving so we’re hosting a holiday canned food drive!

All donations will be given to the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. Serving five counties, including Pima County, the Community Food Bank provides essential resources like emergency food boxes, meal programs, and community education on food sustainability.

VIP Experience

We’re also introducing a new way to enjoy Vegan Tucson Night Market! In other words, elevate your experience with a VIP ticket for just $45.

VIP access includes:

  • One Hour of Early Entry at 4 p.m. – Skip the lines and explore all the vendors in a relaxed setting, one hour before the general public arrives
  • VIP Lounge Access – Indulge in a private lounge setting featuring a vegan sushi bar by renowned Chef Anthony Dromgoole of OBON, where you’ll get to enjoy delicious plant-based sushi as part of your VIP ticket
  • Two Complimentary Drinks – Choose from exclusive vegan cocktails or other beverages designed just for our VIPs

Purchase your tickets to the VIP Experience here.

With more than 60 vegan food vendors, live music, and an ambiance that’s dark, edgy, and electric, this event brings together 4,000-5,000 plant-based food lovers for a one-of-a-kind culinary experience. This month, sip on beer, cocktails, and hot cocoa as you enjoy vegan eats under the stars. With flash tattoos, permanent jewelry, and a festive holiday market filled with vintage clothing, makeup, jewelry, and more, it’ll be the perfect night to celebrate the season.

Also, the Vegan Night Market — sponsored by Whiskey Del Bac — will be on the soccer fields at Rillito Park as opposed to where it’s been located in the past.

Dogs won’t be allowed this time but bring a chair, blanket, frisbee, etc. and have fun!

Between the pools, hot spring and cold plunge, water slide, yoga, live music, complimentary bike rentals, and their nostalgic “Summer Rewind” experience, there was always something to do. We never left the resort.

The highlight at their on-site restaurant, Epazote Kitchen & Cocktails, was the Pollo Con Rajas - perfectly cooked chicken over a rich creamed poblano, onion, and corn mestizaje. And if you’re at their Sundance Café for breakfast, get the pozole. It’s made from a family recipe that became such a guest favorite it earned a permanent spot on the menu.

Although El Conquistador licenses the Hilton brand, it’s owned and operated by a local company. The culinary team sources much of its meat and produce from Arizona.

Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway or just looking for an incredible dinner with Catalina Mountain views, this spot is worth adding to your list. 🌵🌞
