Mexican street food-focused restaurant Seis Kitchen and Catering is scheduled to open their second location in Joesler Village at the northwest corner of River Road and Campbell Avenue in July.

“We just signed everything about two weeks ago,” said Erika Muñoz, who owns Seis with her husband Jake.

The 3,300-square-foot space at 1765 E. River Rd., which previously housed Orenccios Ristorante Terrazza, is next door to Sullivan’s Steakhouse.

“We don’t want people to feel isolated like it’s indoors and stuffy,” Muñoz said. “We’re still focusing on street food in an air conditioned environment with an outdoor patio. It’s an extension of the brand with a full bar and the same philosophy of preparing whole, local ingredients.”

Guests can still expect house-made corn tortillas and torta buns from La Estrella Bakery. The addition of a full bar will feature an emphasis on tequila drinks.

The interior will feature a similar feel as the original Seis location with help from FORS Architecture + Interiors for remodeling.

“Now we have four walls and booths, which we’re totally stoked about,” Muñoz said. “We’re also excited to still be part of the bike path and see those regulars.”

Neighboring Villa Peru Restaurant is scheduled to open mid-June.
